Module Reflection #3

I love the cloud! Before the cloud services, I had to carry around a flash drive and often lost things because I lost my flash drive. The first cloud computing service I used was Dropbox. I looked it up, and it was released in September of 2008. I remember always filling up my storage and looking at how else I could get more storage without paying. Then in April 2012, Google Drive came out, and I switched to that. I like Google Drive more than Dropbox because it was in the Google Suite. With a Gmail account, everything synced seamlessly. I have multiple Gmail accounts to rack up more cloud storage. It kind of sucks that we are only given free 15GB and have to pay for more (but I guess they have to make money somehow and pay for servers).

QR codes are the best. I am pretty familiar with QRCode Monkey. It's so convenient to just create a code that can lead you to a website without having to type the whole web address out. Recently, I saw Google Chrome come out with their QR code generator on the side of the web address place. There's an option to download and that is what I did for the Web 2.0 assignment. I will attach a picture below this.

I love using Canva to make infographs. I recently made an infograph for my EDIT 4510 class and this is what it looked like:

For the infograph assignment, I really liked all of Tom's idea and he was the one that got the ball rolling! By Sunday, I saw that we have not started on the infograph and just went ahead and designed an "Up-themed" infographic. Since it felt better being vertical, I actually changed the orientation of the page. Hopefully, people are fine with the design.

In my EDFN 5000 class, we actually learned a little bit of HTML and had to create two pages for our lab assignment. The first page is linked here. Our professor had us learn through w3schools and overall, it was a very fun experience. Anyway, my reflect for the HTML and CSS assignment for this class, is that this was more detailed out and very helpful!
